Letter from the President of Epic
Builders, Pilots, Aircraft Owners and Epic Enthusiasts,

In 2010 Epic Aircraft emerged from the peril of financial destruction. While we can easily focus on the difficulties of the past year, I would like to point out some of our accomplishments. In April, LT Builders Group LLC purchased the assets of the Epic companies in a "363 sale." Through these and other lengthy court procedures and private negotiations, we secured the original facility, tooling, and intellectual property. By summertime, we had customers and established supplier relationships like Pratt & Whitney and Garmin. Also, we opened up our maintenance facility for existing aircraft. During the slack time between startup and production, our experienced team completed development on several performance enhancements for the existing fleet. In the fall, aircraft kit owners were back in the building working on their airplanes. By Christmas, we had two airplanes nearly complete sitting on their gear with their brand new Pratt & Whitney engines staring fiercely at the door. Of course we have experienced some headwinds along the way, but that can’t stop a big turbine powered Epic LT and it can’t stop us!

I would like to personally thank all of the partners who believed in our effort and backed up that belief with money. Also, I want to thank the former employees who suffered through tremendous personal adversity and came back to help us get this new company started. As well, I want to welcome those new faces that have helped put an exciting new enthusiastic smile on the effort we call Epic. There are nearly 30 LT's flying and many of you flying them have supported our effort, bought parts or service, or just expressed your moral support for our effort –thank you. Finally, I want to thank the many suppliers who have welcomed us and supported us.

With 2011 underway, Epic welcomes those new customers who have signed up to start in the 1st quarter of the year. Our flight plan has us attending Sun-n-Fun, Oshkosh, and AOPA this year. We hope to see you there.

Happy New Year,
Doug & all the team at Epic Aircraft

In order to complete an existing Epic LT project at the facility, you will need to enroll yourself or a project partner in ACS. The enrollment covers all facility usage, training, and assistance to finish your LT project. Parts will be purchased at low contract pricing as required. We can now sell new PT6A-67A engines.

Karl Baldessari—Karl was the former manager of the Cessna plant in Bend. He brings a wealth of management and manufacturing experience to the Epic family. Epic Aircraft, LLC
We are back to selling kits! We have a nearly complete LT kit in stock ready for an October delivery. We are also taking orders for Victory and Escape Kits. We expect to be able to start making Victory and Escape kits by October. We will be upgrading the engine on the Victory to the PW617. The Escape will continue to use the Honeywell TPE331-10 engine. That "-10" engine is available used/overhauled at significant discount, allowing for a 5 seat, 300+ knot aircraft complete for right at around $1 million.-
