Director of Materials and Structural Testing
Requirements:
Must possesss a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sructural Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field with 3 years experience in the job offered or related field
Job Duties:
Perform setup and execution of static and fatigue tests using servo hydraulic test stands and MTS Test Works. Data Acquisition and istrumentation of sensors such as strain gages, potentiometers, acceleorometrers and load cells; Structural testing subscale and full scale requiring instrumentation fo the test article with sensors and Manage Engineers and technicians and provide technical direction and guidance on test procedures, failure modes, datat analysis and equipment operation; Assessment of labor hours, time and budget for a project and requires a detailed understanding of project and critical path methods; Liaise and communicate with potential vendors, cotract negotiations and outsourcing cost calculation; Utilize knowledge of machining processes such as milling, grinding, water jet cutting, drilling and turning to build aircraft tooling and aircraft parts. Aircraft parts need to be machined to close tolerances to perform the function. Also includes CNC programming, computer aided drafting and PLC programming; Review documents , drawings and specifications for manufacturing process problems with Cure Kinetics, Heat transfer, Composite lay-up, CNC machining and knowledge of PLC's.

Powerplant Lead Engineer Epic Certified.
Responsibilities
All systems firewall forward and the entire fuel system.
Design of all firewall fwd sytems to FAR 23 standards.
Dealing with certification authorities.
Dealing with vendors and suppliers on design and certification issues.
Create powerplant and fuel system related standards, procedures and specifications
Communicate with other departments to facilitate a smooth implementation of other systems and requirements (electric, structures etc) firewall fwd and vice versa.
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Degree
More than 5 years experience in the aviation industry
Knowledge of FAR Part 23 or 25.
Having done or participated in at least one certification program (TC or STC)
Over 1000 hours hands-on 3D CAD experience
Reporting to: VP Engineering
Fuselage Lead Engineer Epic Certified.
Responsibilities
All systems and structure firewall aft including vertical tail and fuselage interior.
Design everything to FAR Part 23 standard
Dealing with certification authorities
Dealing with vendors and suppliers on design and certification issues.
Create all required standards, procedures and specifications
Communicate with other departments to facilitate a smooth implementation of other systems and requirements (electric, structures, systems etc) in the fuselage
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Degree
More than 5 years experience in the aviation industry
Knowledge of FAR Part 23 or 25.
Having done or participated in at least one certification program (TC or STC)
Over 1000 hours hands on 3D CAD experience
Reporting to: VP Engineering
Certification Engineer Epic Certified.
Responsibilities
All certification related communication with the authorities.
All certification related master scheduling
Dealing with certification authorities
Dealing with vendors and suppliers on certification issues.
Archive all certification related company standards, procedures and specifications and documentation
Communicate with all other departments to build, maintain and follow up in master cert schedule

Avionics Manager Epic Certified.
Responsibilities
Managing the Avionics department
Design of all electric and avionics systems to FAR 23 standards
Lightning strike protection included
Trouble shooting of electrical issues
Dealing with certification authorities
Dealing with vendors and suppliers on design and certification issues.
Create process standards and other avionic related specifications
Communicate with other departments to facilitate a smooth implementation of design and systems.
Requirements:
Electrical Engineering Degree
More than 5 years experience in the aviation industry
Knowledge of FAR Part 23 or 25.

Wing Lead Engineer Epic Certified.
Responsibilities
All systems and structure related to wing and horizontal tail.
Design everything to FAR Part 23 standard

Communicate with other departments to facilitate a smooth implementation of other systems and requirements (electric, structures, systems etc) in wing and tail

CAD Designer
Looking for a Mechanical Drafter with SolidWorks experience in the aerospace industry. PDMworks or similar vault knowledge and experience a plus. Will report to the CAD Manager.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical degree.
Experience in engineering or manufacturing recommended.
Requires a high level of proficiency using SolidWorks design software with experience in generating machine part and assembly drawings.
Must work well with others in a fast paced environment.
Military Specifications understanding strongly desired.
Mechanical Engineer
Designs solid models and makes improvements to existing aircraft parts/assemblies. Will design, implement, and evaluate parts and assemblies in preparation for the manufacturing process. Works with other members of the engineering and manufacturing staff to reduce cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks in the production process. Background in aircraft design including composites required. SolidWorks/ PDMworks knowledge and experience a plus. Will report to the General Manager.
Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree and 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design.
Requires a high level of proficiency using SolidWorks design software with experience in lofting and surface tools a plus.

Manufacturing/Tool Engineer
Designs new tooling and makes improvements to existing aircraft parts/assemblies. Will evaluate products, parts, and processes for cost efficiency and reliability. Works with other members of the engineering and manufacturing staff to reduce cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks in the production process. Reports to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering.
Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree and 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design.
Requires a high level of proficiency using SolidWorks design software with experience in lofting and surface tools a plus.
Must work well with others in a fast paced environment.

Systems Engineer
Our systems engineer’s primary responsibility will be to bring experimental level design and documentation up to production standards with his/her main focus on the electrical systems of our aircraft. Multiple aircraft platforms are in development now, each with multiple design configurations, including avionics packages. It will be the responsibility of our systems engineer to insure the safety and reliability of these systems. In addition, he/she will work with the mechanical design team to insure the proper routing of cable harnesses, to support integration and positioning of electrical hardware, and participate in the design of instrument panels.
Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/technology and 5-10 years of experience designing aircraft/automotive type systems.
Requires a high level of proficiency using Orcad or similar design software.
Experience with avionics, hydraulics and/or pressurization systems a plus.
Must work well with others in a fast paced environment.
Assembly Technician
Perform sub assemblies & installation of aircraft parts and equipment. This includes fuel and hydraulic line installation, window installation, door assembly and control assemblies. Must be able to do minor composite repairs, drilling, safety wiring, cotter pin installation, and proper fastener installation using various hand and power tools. Must be able to read and interpret drawings. Strong attention to detail is required, along with a high school diploma, GED, or 1 to 12 months related experience. A good mechanical attitude is preferred.
Composite Fabricator
Trim, drill, fabricate, bond and assemble composite aircraft parts and structures. Properly select, mix, and apply various adhesives to parts that need to be bonded together. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings as well as specifications and work order routines. High school diploma or GED required. Must be knowledgeable with basic hand and power tools. Good carpentry skills preferred.
Composite Lay Up Technician
Lay up and fabricate composite aircraft by applying prepreg, carbon fiber and core material to molds. Reads, interprets and works from engineering drawings. Must be able to process specifications and work order routings. A high school diploma or GED and good manual dexterity is preferred.
Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Performs flight line duties such as maintenance, repair and the alteration of aircraft components and systems. Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems is a must. Formal aviation maintenance training, A & P License, and at least three years of aircraft maintenance are required.
Turbine Power Plant Mechanic
Perform engine and systems installation. A & P license is required. Must have 5 years experience with PT6-67 and/or Williams FJ-33 power plants. Will work in a research and developmental setting.
